An ice candy machine, also known as an ice cream machine or kulfi machine, is a device designed to produce frozen treats in the form of ice candies or popsicles and kulfi machine. These machines are commonly used in commercial settings, such as ice cream parlors, convenience stores, and food service establishments. However, there are also smaller, more compact versions available for home use.
Ice Candy Machine
We manufacture and deliver the different models of popsicle/ice candy machines as per their mould categories. So, moulds are responsible for the production and quantity of Popsicle, Ice Candy, and Kulfi. By going through the listed below models and your preferences, you can decide on your perfect machine.
How does it works?
An ice candy machine, also known as a popsicle machine or ice pop machine, is designed to produce frozen treats in the form of ice candy or popsicles. The basic working principle of such machines involves a few key steps:
Mixing and Freezing: The process begins with the preparation of a liquid mixture that will become the ice candy. This mixture typically includes water, sugar, flavorings, and sometimes additives like colorings or fruit pieces. The mixture is poured into molds or forms designed for the specific machine.
Inserting Sticks: Wooden or plastic sticks are inserted into the liquid mixture in the molds. These sticks serve as handles for consumers to hold onto while eating the ice candy.
Freezing Stage: The filled molds with sticks are then placed into the freezing chamber of the machine. The freezing process can take some time, allowing the liquid mixture to solidify and transform into ice.
Extraction: Once the ice candy is thoroughly frozen, the molds are taken out of the freezing chamber. Some machines have a mechanism to facilitate the extraction of the popsicles from the molds, making it easier for the operator to remove the finished products.
Packaging: After extraction, the ice candies may be individually wrapped or packaged for storage and distribution. Packaging helps prevent freezer burn, maintains product quality, and allows for easy handling and distribution.
Quality Control: Many ice candy machines include features for quality control, such as temperature regulation and timers, to ensure that the frozen treats are consistently produced with the desired texture and taste.
It’s important to note that the specific design and features of ice candy machines can vary. Some machines are designed for small-scale production, while others are industrial-grade for larger-scale manufacturing. Additionally, the freezing method (whether air-cooled or liquid-cooled) and the specific controls and automation can differ between different models and manufacturers.

How to use?
Using an ice candy machine to make candy is a straightforward process. Here’s a basic guide on how to use an ice candy machine to make delicious kulfi:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups full-fat milk
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust according to taste)
- 1/2 cup khoya (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- Chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Kulfi Mixture:
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the full-fat milk and bring it to a boil. Stir continuously to avoid burning.
- Once the milk comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer until it reduces to half its original quantity, stirring occasionally.
Add Sweeteners and Flavorings:
- Add sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, sugar, and khoya (if using) to the reduced milk. Stir well to combine.
- Continue to simmer on low heat until the mixture thickens.
Add Flavorings:
- Add cardamom powder and chopped nuts (if using) to the mixture. Mix well.
Cool the Mixture:
- Allow the kulfi mixture to cool to room temperature.
Pour into Ice Candy Molds:
- Pour the cooled kulfi mixture into the ice candy molds. Leave some space at the top as the mixture will expand when it freezes.
Freeze:
- Place the filled ice candy molds in the freezer and let them freeze for at least 6-8 hours or overnight.
Serve:
- Once the kulfi is completely frozen, take it out of the molds. You can run the molds under warm water for a few seconds to help release the kulfi easily.
Enjoy:
- Serve the kulfi on sticks and enjoy your homemade ice candy kulfi!
Remember that the process may vary slightly depending on the specific ice candy machine you are using, so it’s a good idea to refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for any additional steps or tips. Additionally, feel free to customize the recipe by adding flavors like saffron, rose water, or pistachios based on your preferences.
